About Tanaris
The portal may need a quest or campaign first; the game files do not say which.
From Orgrimmar (Horde) it is 1 portal.
It has 5 flight points (separate Alliance and Horde masters share a name): Bootlegger Outpost, Dawnrise Expedition, Gadgetzan and Gunstan's Dig.
Direct connections: Dustwallow Marsh, Feralas, Northern Barrens, Orgrimmar, Silithus, Stormwind City and 4 more.
Source text in the game names this zone for 3 mounts.
Routes use portals, flight paths, boats and ground travel. They do not assume player flying, so with flying you may cut a leg short.
