About Townlong Steppes
The portal may need a quest or campaign first; the game files do not say which.
From Stormwind City (Alliance) it is 1 portal and 2 flight paths.
It has 4 flight points: Gao-Ran Battlefront, Longying Outpost, Rensai's Watchpost and Shado-Pan Garrison.
Direct connections: Dread Wastes, Kun-Lai Summit and Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Source text in the game names this zone for 4 mounts.
Routes use portals, flight paths, boats and ground travel. They do not assume player flying, so with flying you may cut a leg short.
